Scholarship Opportunity from the Flipper Forum….
Applications for the 2012 Nordstrom Scholarship Program are available now for deserving high school juniors. The company will award eighty (80) college scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each to students in states where Nordstrom has a store. Please share widely with your network or with anyone who knows of a young person who plans to attend college.(civic groups, churches, fraternities/sororities, etc).

Men’s Day 2012!  The men of Flipper are getting ready to celebrate Men’s Day 2012 on Sunday, March 18. 

Our speaker for the morning service will be the Honorable Andrew Young, former Mayor City of Atlanta.  Watch for more information on future Men’s Day activities.

The Women for Morris Brown College will be holding a Zumbathon at the MBC Student Union Bldg. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Come join us as we strive to get fit and healthy!  We will have several classes at all levels: the regular class, the senior class, a slow paced class, etc.  We will have water and fruit for you to enjoy as you get your workout.
